Tiempos Muertos / Dead Times

Every day thousands of inhabitants of the Metropolitan area of Mexico City travel long journeys in public transportation to reach our places of study, work or to get some service; this is part of the social phenomenon known as Floating population. Throughout these trips some people take the time to perform certain activities such as reading, studying or eating, but tiredness and routine are also evident and for a moment people sleep or simply absorbed in the weightlessness of their thoughts. For me, during these journeys, illumination and temporality have become protagonist elements that reveal unrepeatable moments, so my expectation has become a constant stalking, in an eagerness to witness how the light travels and disperses to give life to the Dead Times.
